What this is
An independent publication about choosing wedding and event venues in Oxfordshire and the surrounding Cotswolds. It exists because most venue writing is produced by venues, and reads accordingly.
How it is written
From research and from the general practice of the events industry in England. We publish structure, rules, seasons and cost mechanics.
We deliberately do not publish a directory with capacities and prices. Those figures change constantly and a directory that is out of date is worse than none. Where a venue is mentioned, we link to its own site so you read the current position from the source.
Independence
No venue pays to appear here, we take no commission on bookings, and we have no commercial relationship with any supplier. If that ever changes it will be stated on this page first.
